What do you need to learn?

Interestingly, although required, the specialty organizations offer very limited outlines of what is required for US physics if seeking POCUS privileges. The outlines are cursory and incomplete.

But, in 2019, the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM) published the consensus statement, “Curriculum for Fundamentals of Ultrasound in Clinical Practice”. The AIUM specifically addresses the POCUS user in this statement and states, “To optimize diagnostic images and operate safely, it is essential to understand the fundamental principles of ultrasound”.

I utilized that statement as the guide for this project, and hope I have provided as such.
